"Here's and update for all the other victims of State Farm out there: State Farm has posted 2 claims on our record after refusing both claims and not paying for anything. After what they have done to us, they have made it nearly impossible to get any other insurance at all. What a shitty way to treat a long time customer. Yes the staff are friendly.. But, we have had State Farm for years with no claims. We filed a claim in July 2023 and they have done nothing but pass the buck. After three separate contractors say we need to replace our roof due to hail damage, State Farms has done nothing. Now we have received a notice that State Farm is raising our rates. Why pay for insurance if your property is not insured. With the premiums we have paid State Farm over the years, we could have replaced our roof more than once. It's becoming very apparent that we will have to be out of pocket for our roof repairs or replacement. Over $20,000... We have had all of our property and vehicles insured by State Farm, with no accidents or claims. Now we are treated like this? After several months of waiting, and several storms later, still nothing from State Farm. Nothing but increased rates. Well, after speaking with several family members and friends, we have learned that we are not alone."
